Police Department

The Platte City Police Department was established in 1931.  Today the department has grown, along with the City, and is comprised of the thirteen (13) sworn officers which includes the Chief of Police.

The Platte City Police Department perform a variety of functions for the citizens of Platte City.  They patrol the city, provide written documentation of incidents and offenses, conduct investigations, and provide other law enforcement support as necessary.

The Platte City Police Department is located at 355 Main Street.  Administrative services are available at City Hall (400 Main St) Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for walk-in reports, report reproduction, and other police business.
